Shipping fee with weight and kubic meters

Hi,

Are there any rules on how the shipment fee is calculated? You can add a fee for weight and for size.

What happens is i fill both the weight and sizes. So i fill a rate and i fill the fields on the product page.

- Does DW calculate both prices and adds them?
- Does DW make a choice for one off the shipping methods (ex: the cheapest one)?

Hi Matthijs

I'm not sure I understand your question fully but I assume you need to know which fee is applied if you have an order with a weight and a size.

Consider this example:
Order1 weight: 7.5kg
Order1 size: 5m2
Order2 weight: 5kg
Order2 size: 15m2

In backend you set the following fees on your Shipping method:
0 | $ | 0 | 0
10 | $ | 5 | 5
20 | $ | 10 | 5
30 | $ | 15 | 10


Order1 will have a shipping fee of 20 whereas Order2 will have a shipping fee of 30.
