Set delivery as billing

Hi DW.

Is it possible to set the delivery/shipping information automatically on an order by what the user has entered in billing? I am asking because the user might not use the Shipping section and I would like to use the Delivery tags on my receipt etc.

Hi Christian

You have 2 options

  • Update the delivery information to the customer information in the frontend using JS
  • Or in the shipping section of your receipt, use the customer information tags
    • Or if you have both, use conditional rendering in the template - if the shipping address is empty, use the customer address etc.
