Hi,

I'm looking to setup navigation on a site as follows:

-User can select the first level group through the navigation

-The second level group is shown as a facet with name Category

-The third level is is shown as a facet with name Sub-Category

After inspecting the index, I'm not sure if I can use the Top, Second, Third level group fields:

Because it appears they are not always correctly indexed.

Example 1 (correctly shows a second level):

Example 2 (no second/third level in index):

Or maybe my entire approach of trying to use the fields is wrong? :-)

Thanks,

Justin

Hi Justin,

Yes, that's exactly what you need to do. And wen setting up the facets you can even make it so that the Third level group facet is only shown if the second level group facet has a value.
