Search groups

Hi,

How do I setup a search to search in the group description and/or group fields.

Think I have been looking at filter search, parameter based search, standard ecom search, weighted search and standard search with no luck.

Hi Regin,

 

I believe you can only search the field values on products, not groups. You can filter products by group (group id), but not specific field values of the groups... as far as i know.

 

You can create product categories with fields, assign them to selected groups and enter values for each product in those groups. You can then create a search filter on product category fields. I don't know if you can use that.

 

Maybe you can describe in more detail what it is you are trying to accomplish?
