Search for products in backend

Hi guys,

Can I include a custom field form products in the backend search?

I have a field where I store an internal code and the admin is used to search by that value.

The product search in Ecommerce searches all text fields - including custom fields.

Or do I misunderstand?

Hi Nicolai, I am talking about the search in the backend, in the ecommerce section. In a group or in all products. I have a field that holds an internal code and it looks it does not search in that field. Is the search connected to the old index? Thanks, Adrian

It is DB based. Bur recently change from searching all fields, to search 3 fields to search all text fields... Might be you are in the version in between.
