I would like to use the RMA module to allow the customer to send queries about the products that have been purchased. But perhaps when creating the request they do not know if it will be a return or exchange. Also, this may be useful also to discuss a query about the order even before it is shipped.
Perhaps I could just fix the request type as "Defective" and either use the state like you mentioned or add a custom field to specifiy other types of queries. Like “Product Question”, “Order Question”, “Product Complaint”, “Shipping/Logistics Complaint”.
I also need to add a photo field, which I will have to do manually as well (this would be a great feature, but I know it is not on the list yet). Is there an event I can subscribe to on creation of the RMA request to add these fields?
