Dear All,
Could you please advise for the above case as we are now having an issue that products on the frontend are showing as per the manual sorting of
the products from the product list on backend product group and we want to reset the maual sorting of products to appear correctly with original sorting on the fronend?

Hi Aye,

There is no concept of reset, because there is no default sorting. You can sort by any column you want though. Is that not enough?

Hi Nuno,

Apologies if my previous question is confused. Actually, we are facing the sorting issue on frontend product list page. We have 'New in' product list page to show the products from 'New In' product group and the newest products should appear on top of the list. Although we configured the sorting of product catalog on its content page to show the products with Descending order based on Created Date, the product list page is still showing as per how those products appears on 'Sort Products' of the product group backend. That's why we would like to know how can we achieve to show the products on the product list page with the default sorting either from repository or from the content page itself, not from the product sorting of the product group. Could you please advise?

Hi Nyein,

Can you confirm if you have "User group sort in group context" enabled?

It might just be that Dynamicweb overrides any query sorting options if that checkbox is set, I am not sure.
