Render Canonical URL for products in Product Feed

Hi Guys,

We have some situations where we need to include Canonical URL of a product in products feeds (like the ones for Google feed).

Is there any way to render the canonical link value in a template? Apart from the automatically generated value in Meta Section?

Is it possible to create a custom tag that will render it? I mean working with the API?
