Releasing stock on order delete

Hi there,

Is there a way to release stock on an order that is set to Delete (i.e. a soft delete, not actually deleting the order) through standard functionality or the APII maybe?

No, there is no such API call.

Could there be any workaround? Manually updating the quantities on the lines come to mind but I am not sure if that would release the stock.

You can just take the amount from the orderlines and add back to the stock field on the products... My best bet.
