Relation groups - default on group level

Hi,

In our DW implementation we have defined two relation groups (Management Center -> eCommerce-> Product Catelog -> Relation Groups). On a eCommerce group editing form we can define default related products following the relation groups but not default related group? Please see the two attached images for clear understanding.

Background is that for each product we want to know what products are accessories and what are substitutes, and we would like to have this defined as default value on group level so we do not have to assign the same list of prouducts for each product at the time... Idea is to have supplements and accessories in a signle group and just assign that group as a defalut list for substitutes and accessories.

We cold make an convention that first relation is always accessory and second substitute, but first would like to check with you if there is possibility to use relation groups (type) on group level.

Hi Adnan

Yes, you can add default related groups... You can create a group of accessories, add products to it, and relate it to all products in an other group... See dump

Yes, that is fine I know that, but how can I assign relation group to it? We want to distingush default accessories group and default "similar" prodcuts group. We cannot rely on a group name, we only can rely on a relationship type that is defined under (Management Center -> eCommerce-> Product Catelog -> Relation Groups).

Please take a closer look at my two screen  dumps. Default related products have two sections (accessories and similar), and the default related group does not, it ignores relation groups that are set in the management center.

I hope i managed to clarify.
