Redirect to first variant page

Hi Guys,

I have a solution where most (if not all) products have variants.

Upon Variant selection, we are redirecting the user to the variant page.

However, we often have products with just one variant. 

Is there any setting that will automatically redirect the user to the first variant page instead of the master product page?

You can set the default variant on the variant tab. That should make the redirect unneeded because it will be the variant that is being rendered instead. Also if you have just one variant, you basically do not have a variant :-)

Hi Nicolai,

Thank you very much for your response.

Unfortunately I cannot convince the cutomer to separate the variant approach as they are using the Units as Variants and that's how they've defined them in the ERP.

But the default variant should be ok.
