Read only on product field does not work

Hi,

I have a product field which are "Read only" 

But i still can change the value through PIM and Ecom

Hi,

if you logged by Administrator\Admin (or specific user has the same role) in backend then you have to use the option enabled (see attachment) to get the feature applied. Regular backend user does not require it. I've checked list-box product standard\custom\category field on last DW9.17.2 and saw it work as expected for administrator\regular user for product edit form in Ecommerce (Product Catalog) or PIM.
