Hi,

I have tried to create a group with subgroups, then set to hide a certain section (Insights) for the top group by setting permissions to none, all after enabling Capabilities

The users in the subgroupcan still see the Insights section.

When I set Permissions to none for the subgroup the user does not see it anymore.

Bug?

Take a look at the (updated) docs: https://doc.dynamicweb.dev/manual/dynamicweb10/users/permission.html?q=permissions None is now the lowest permisison level, and not longer treated as Deny.

It's controlled by a feature flag called "Use new permission hierarchy" that "Enables the updated permission hierarchy where “None” is treated as the lowest permission level". It may be on by default on newer installations.
