Order subtotal and shipping

Hi,

In the order summary, the subtotal price is not the price of the products. Please see attached image.

In the image, the subtotal should be the price of the products ($64), but it displays $61.50 that is the price of the products minus the shipping price.

Why the subtototal is substracting the shipping price? Is there any configuration to change this behaviour?

Regards,
Tomás

Hi Tomás,

I believe unfortunately there are even other issues you may run into, which QA is supposed to be looking into (I am waiting to hear back from them).

Please check https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/swift/swift/swift-order-details-viewmodel-issues

Thanks Nuno!

I'm writing to support because, actually, the behaviour in the staging site is right but not in production site. We compare both sites and their configurations are apparently the same. Do you now any config that could interfere to substract the shipping from the subtotal?

Regards,
Tomas

Hi Tomás,

None that I know of. From what I know of Dynamicweb, there are no configurations that change how subtotal is calculated. What it has is multiple subtotal calculations (i.e. Including or excluding fees, including or excluding order discounts, including or excluding taxes, a mix and match of these,...) and then one of them is used in the template, according to how it needs to be represented (i.e. if your design/customer wants to consider the subtotal to include or exclude order discounts).

That said, if you're not making template changes to what's displayed in Staging vs Production, and you have the same DW version, they should be the same as far as I can tell.

Nuno
