Order Step validation failed

Hi guys,

I have just upgraded one of our solutions from DW 9.9.x to 9.13.11.

Apart from a bunch of other problems, the one that is critical is the inability of finalising orders.

We get this message in the log of the order:

Order Step validation failed. Defaulting to step: 0 but I have no idea what is the validation that fails

Before the upgrade, all was working perfectly. There are no changes to the data set.

Anybody has any pointer about where we should look?

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi,

tested on Rapido 3.4.3 based on DW9.14.0 with 'One step sheckout' cart having attached validation rules and settings of Cart - no logged like that. Please, cpecify your case if reproduced and still relevant.

Hi Oleg,

In my case, the setup looks like this:

And we have no Address validation rules in place apart from the customer acceptance:

Some customers seems to be able to finalize orders, which led us to blame the setup of the user or the addresses. The user and Addresses are imported from NAV but there is nothing obviously wrong about the particular case we have tested with.

Is there any place in the database where I can see the reason for order not being validated? I guess that information can point us in the right direction since it seems like the new version is more sensitive to the data we have.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi,

I've already tested Rapido/Custom solution with settigs are the same as you have provided but was not able to catch the error, here is video about my check. The issue seem to be specific one of your solution and may be related to customization of the templates. Please, find attached pic says about simple reasons of the error. Data in order log is full and no extra one exists in DB to check. Refer to support to submit new case to support if still relevant. Thanks.
