Order number in confirmation email

Hello,

 

We have a request of displaying the order number in the subject of the confirmation email. I don't see mention of that in the documentation : https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/orders/shopping-cart#sideNavTitle1-1-2

Is there a built-in way to do it in the interface (using a placeholder for example) ? Otherwise I'll subscribe to SendingConfirmationMail.

You can use {OrderID} in the subject to insert it.

Hi I try to insert with integration id but it was not wroking as expected. Is there any limitation.

Hi Nicolai,

I have tried to insert as {OrderIntegrationID}, {EcomOrderIntegrationId},{IntegrtionOrderId}.

You cannot do that - only orderid is supported currently. I can easily add integrationorderid if for you. But are you even sure that id exist at the time the order receipt is being generated?

Hi Nicolai,

Yes I'm sure that there is an integration order id. I have added in the email content and it is rendering correctly.

Hello Nicolai,

If it can be added, that would be great. Our customer is asking for this functionality, and they are questioning why it can be added in the email content but not in the subject line.

I would be very happy if we could get this feature soon.
