Multiple email address on order not triggered

Hi,

 

Is Ecom supposed to handle multiple email addresses on the same field? Ex: OrderCustomerEmail or OrderDeliveryEmail?

 

I noticed that using Order flow State emails, this is possible, but only for the Billing address email (OrderCustomerEmail), and it disregards the Shipping emails.

 

So this is what we reproduce:

  • Placing the order
    • ​Can only have 1 email address per field
    • Emails triggered by the paragraph (module) settings only accept 1 email - I could not confirm 100% but seems like it
  • Updating order state
    • We can edit the order (or come from integration)
    • Billing email (OrderCustomerEmail) can accept multiple email addresses
    • Shipping email (OrderDeliveryEmail) is only triggered if there's only 1 Billing email

 

Can you reproduce this situation and let us know how's it supposed to work? We do have customer requesting for multiple emails, and allowing multiple addresses would be great, but not sure how complex it is, if it should be a feature request, or if this is a bug (because DW should already do this).

You are supposed to have only one email in each field.

Hi Nicolai,

 

Ok, thanks. So it sounds like there's a bug/worm in DW allowing multiple customer emails, as long as they are all in the Billing email address :)
