Hi,
Using Loyalty points I can see the standard method is to add a product to the cart using points, but I wanted to use it differently:
- The user add products to the cart
- When in the cart, add the possibility for the user to choose how many points to use for that purchase
I see two possible outcomes:
- For each orderline, when possible convert from price to points - so the user does not have to decide in the product detail/list page
- For each currency setting how many cents/dolars/euros 1 point is worth
I guess scenario 2 change the logic of loyalty points into some sort of discount and/or 2nd payment method for the same order.
Let me know if any of this makes sense and if I can do any of it?
