Limit access to management of prices across Shops

Hi guys,

I have a situation where I need to create some dealer subsites in the same application, each dealer having a dedicated Shop.

My problem here is that each shop will have more or less the same catalog but they may have different prices.

Since it would be pretty sensitive information, I need to restrict their access to price management and maybe build some custom backend module that would allow them to import a price list for their shop.

But I cannot figure out how I can limit their access to the Price matrix section in the product editing.
I can limit their access to PIM and allow them to manage prices from PIM? Would this be an option?

Hi Adrian

We actually just finished development of shop based permissions on prices in the matrix. So if you use shop permissions and have prices with shopid on them, only prices with the right permissions can be seen. It is currently on our head branch only, but I think it is needed for another customer as well and is marked for merge and release on the 9.8 branch once it has completed tests.
