Issue with indexing of pages [SOLVED]

Hi,

We have a site for a customer at easylaser.com which uses DW 8.9.2.0.

And lately, some of the news pages have gotten a higher and higher indexing number at the end of url.

For example; https://easylaser.com/en-US/News/Why-laser-tools-are-better-for-belt-alignment-6.aspx

is now up to -6

They only have 1 domain but they are including the regional name (en-US in this case) in the URL and the "ensure unique urls" is unchecked since acdcording to this post (http://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/feature-requests/feature-requests/improving-ensure-unique-paths-for-each-area) I am guessing the setup is correct?

Is this a bug in DW or is there something else we need to do to stop getting the -4, -5, -6 etc etc.

/Best regards

Daniel

Hi Daniel

It is because it is not a page "Why laser tools are better for belt alignment" is an item based paragraph, and therefore not part of the URL tree - only pages are. Another issue is that you have both a news item and some blogposts with the same name.

So if you use pages instead, and only have the title once, the -Y will go away.
