Issue with ecommerce category urls

Hy Dynamicweb,

I have an issue with category urls.

We have 2 level category structure and this was working just fine - for example the following url:

http://195.249.142.64/webshop/hvidevaer/emhaetter

Then I went to admin -> web and http -> customized urls and I unchecked "Canonical url in meta" - in both eCommerce and Meta sections

After I did that all the urls changed - now the url is -

http://195.249.142.64/webshop/emhaetter

which is wrong because it doesn't have "hvidevaer" group in the url. This goes for all the level 2 categories.

I tried to fixed that by checking back "Canonical url in meta" but the issue is not fixed yet.

This is very urgent for us because we are live and the url structure completely changed.

That is because you also changed the URL provider for groups.

Hi Nicolai,

Thank you, it is working now.

I am sure that I haven't changed the group provider myself.

After some testing I noticed that the provider changes automatically after you deactivate "Canonical url in meta" - in both eCommerce and Meta sections.

Hi Davor

I have now tested enabling and disabling canonicals 10 times on different versions - I cannot reproduce that the provider setting automatically changes. If you find a way to reproduce the error, make sure to capture it in JING, report along with OS and Browser version so we can get it fixed.
