I have a products catalog uploaded using Data Integration module where all products have the same ID and Number. Sometimes my customer should add manually new products, but adding manually a new product the Product ID and the product Number are not the same because ID is created by the system. How can I change manually system ID as Product number?

Hi Giuseppina

I think you mean that the ID number should be the same as the Product Number.
There are no option in backend to change the ID of a product. An Id is an unique identification of the product and this is set by the system.

You can change the ID in the SQL database, but then you would need to change the ID of all related tables. I would not recommend doing this.
