Hello,

is it possible to include smart searches in the navigation?

Think it would be a powerfull tool and I need it to show feature menu items like "Sale" that shows all producs on sale across all categories ot in the current category or a fetaure menu item under dresses that says "Little black dresses" that shows all dresses in black and so on.. like you see on the bigger ecommerce sites.

Hi Kim,

This can be solved by creating a smart search that will list your Sale items then create a Sale page in the content section and put a ProductCatalog in a paragraph. In the product Catalog you can select the SmartSearch instead of a regular Product Group.

I hope this helps.

Hi Adrian,

Content of my navigation is ecom groups so I don't think I can do that.

You can mix pages with EcomNavigation.

I have done it before.

You might need to tweak your navigation xslt (not sure if it is absolutely necessary).

Just try and add a simple page and see if it shows up in you navigation.
