Getting error when change status from backend on Gift card Redeemed orders 

"Discount can not be added that makes the total purchase price less than 0", anything we miss?

I think not - I have asked QA to try to replicate the issue to see if it is a bug.

Hello Shiwanka, 

I was trying hard to replicate this issue. I'm getting the message "Discount can not be added that makes the total purchase price less than 0" only in one case - if we try to add discount that trully exceeds total purchase price with the next steps:

Open gift card redeemed order from backend Ecommerce/Orders > click edit "pencil" button > click "dollar" or "archive" button (attached file "step 1") > then in edit dialog input discount value which exceeds totals (attached file "step 2" where we add discount in 100$ while our totals is 49.98$) > after action confirmation OK I really get this message which is correct (attached file "step3").

In other cases I cannot reach this result. Would you please describe detailed steps on which you get this error (or just record the video please).

Just try to change the status of the order, then I get this issue

Hello again, 

I still cannot reproduce (tried on several versions). So would you please clarify two points:

1. Which DW version are you currently using? (Maybe it was broken on some intermediate version and fixed later).

2. Do you get the same error when you try to change order state from the order list?
