ecom Navigation - empty groups

Hi,

 

We have a solution in 8.7.0.2 and using a ecommerce navigation (in the menu), we noticed the groups are not showing up until they have products. How can we force groups to show up in the menu, even if there are no products?

Is the site using Assortments functionality?

Hi Christian,

 

We will need assortments on this website but despite being active, we haven't set them up yet. Since you mentioned it I tried to deactivate it and started to work as intended.

 

I will check whether or not the client needs the menu to be consistent. If it does, can we override the behaviour?

 

(I know the workaround would be to create 1 page for each group, but I don't want to do that)

Hi Nuno

When assortments are active, the assortments navigation provider kicks in and will filter out groups not in your assortment (meaning there are no products published for the user in a group).

That can only be bypassed by making you own navigation provider.
