Hi there,

Does anybody know if there is an option to assign a masterProduct including all its variants to a Discount group in the Ecom?
In the Ecom, Im seeing an option to assign products (masters and variants) to a discount group. But you have to select each product individually.

This client has a solution with products with more than 500 variants. Is there an option that automatically includes all variants to the discount when a master product is added?

Hi Barend

Instead of assigning products directly to a discount, create a product group structure for discounts and use that to give discounts

  • Shop 1
    • Group 1
    • Group 2
    • Campaigns for discounts (hidden or shown in navigation)
      • Summer sale
      • Haloween campaign

Then you can assign products to the "campaign" group - and create discounts for each group. To add a product to the discount, you assign it to the right product group and the product gets discounted.

Thanks Nicolai, sounds like an elegant solution.

This does mean that the discount groups must be managed twice, both as a group and a discount group, which is fine.

I will report back.
