Digital Assets Portal and Ecommerce detail pages

Hello DynamicWeb,

I'm currently running Dynamicweb 10 with Swift and have a question regarding product detail pages configuration:

For Ecommerce, I'd like the product detail pages to dynamically use different pages based on the group's "Primary page" setting. However, for the Digital Assets Portal, I prefer to always display products using a single, generic detail page, regardless of the "Primary page" defined on their groups.

Is there a recommended way to set this up?

You would have to do that in the template.

Primary page id is on the product - and you would need to override that information on the relation of a product to a group that also holds the shopid - kind of like the price matrix. Currently that feature is not available.

If the the digital asset portal runs in another shop context than the webshop, the list link to detail page would not use the primary pageid.... If this makes sense - but that means you have to use a seperate channel for the DAP.

Thanks for your answer. So in order to achieve a different detail-page in a standard way, then an extra channel license should be purchased, right?
