Combine quantity discounts

Hi,

is it possible to set up quantity discounts to enable the following:

All products in a group have the same price ($8). Customers are able to purchase

2 for $15
10 for $60

This means that 12 products should go for $75

Unfortunately, adding 12 products totals to $76. I get the "10 for $60" discount for the first 10 products, but I'm paying full price for the remaining two. The "2 for $15" is never applied beyond the first 8 products in the cart. The solution is set to use the highest discount, and maybe this is causing the lower discount to be dismissed.

I've set up two similar order discounts (inclusive). They include the same product group, apply to any product within that group and only differ on discount amount and product quantity. Changing their priority seems to have no effect.

Has anyone done something similar? Seems like a common a scenario.

I am not sure if you can get it to work, because of the way DW handles discounts, but try to:

Set "Aggregated" in the Discount settings https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/payment-shipping/discounts-offers#8283
This will allow all eligeble discounts to be added
Play with the Product Quantities https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/payment-shipping/discounts-offers#8283 - number 5

I guess the problem is that you only want the "2 products quantities" discount to kick in for the remaining quantities after the "10 quantities" have been applied. You may need to use a Discount Extender to do this https://doc.dynamicweb.com/api/html/73209394-6acc-5a2e-58bb-0817ed607d6d.htm
