B2C users cannot see product group until logged in?

Hi DWs

I am trying to set up a mixed B2B/B2C shop. And I have tried to assign a product group to an extranet user group. But this doesnt seem to work in frontend? The user has a login to the website (frontend) but the product group is there all the time. 

Does the Extranet feature only refer to the Backend Part ?

Hi

The permissions on Groups and Shops are only backend permissions and not used for restricting access to groups in the frontend.

Couldn't you just insert an extra paragraph with the "category" and then make the "permissions" on the paragraphs instead?

 

Might not be the soloution ur looking for ;-(

@Marco, yes I think I have to make some sort of creative solution, based on that :-)
