In my current project, the customer wants to sell gift cards but charge less than the actual gift card price, e.g. the gift card price is $100 but we need to only charge $80.
I have tried to apply discounts (tested both Discount Matrix and Sales Discounts) but the discount wasn't applied.
The closer solution that I have found was apply a "Product price-field discount" and set the $80 on the custom price field. Althought the gift card value was generated as $80 and not $100 (standard product price).

Any ideas how I can apply the customer request?
