Hi

Does anyone know how I can get rid of the strange characters I get instead of æ, ø and å.

This is the solution: http://bulowduus.net.dynamicweb-cms.com/

Version is 8.3.1.17

One of the places it occurs is in the minicart on top of the page.

Is the text added directly in the template? You have probably not saved the template with utf-8 encoding. You need to fix it manually and then save with utf-8 encoding.

Sometimes this shit happens when you transfer via FTP. I usually use the FileZilla FTP client and it has never caused any problems like this.

Hi Morten and thanks for your reply

Can you give me an example on how to save the template with utf-8 encoding. I read there was a problem about it but could'nt figure out how to do it.  I have saved my master template with utf-8 encoding.

Hi Jesper,

 

Try to save the templates with the problematic characters directly in the administration instead of e.g. Visual Studio. That is working for me.

I saved the templates with the problematic characters directly in the administration and everything looks nice again.
