Add media files to a localized product

We have issues with adding documents to a localized product (see attached image).
Looks like it is only possible to add media files to the main version of the product, and not the other localized versions.

How did you configure this field in field settings in MC->Ecommerce->Advanced->Fields?

Perfect, I did not know there was an option for enabling this across languages.
