We have a very strange issue with performance on 9.2.0 sites.

We have looked into items caching, items database performance etc.

But we found this weird request cookie on our slow pages:

  1. Accept:
    text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,image/webp,*/*;q=0.8
  2. Accept-Encoding:
    gzip, deflate, sdch
  3. Accept-Language:
    en-US,en;q=0.8,da;q=0.6
  4. Connection:
    keep-alive
  5. Cookie:

Could that be causing it?

Hi Kevin,

We have noticed some performance issues and are working on it. A number of issues have already been solved.

Some performance optimizations will be included in packages as we release them (e.g. Dynamicweb.Extensibility) and other optimizations will be part of the 9.3 release (mostly related to the administration).

The visitor cookie issue has been bugged. TFS#30757

Hi Kevin,

The issue regarding duplicate entries in cookies has been solved.

Use our package manager to apply the necessary updates. Go to Settings > Packages > Updates and update the Dynamicweb.Environment.Web package to version 1.1.1 (or later).

This bug fix does not have any significant effect on performance though.
