9.2.4 upgrade shows license problem when acessing the package manager

Hi Guys,

I just upgraded from 9.1.0 to 9.2.4.

I got some weird displays on the interface and I tried to see if I need to upgrade anything.

When I accessed the Package manager, I got this message "Package management requires a bigger license. Please contact your partner."

Well, I am the partner :)

Also I have noticed in the System tree, there is a "Licence Information" node that returns a yellow error when accessed: Could not load type 'Dynamicweb.Admin.LicenseInformation'.

Do I need to setup it differently?

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I looked at the code, and I can see that the Package manager will show this message, if you if don't have either a Premium, Corporate or Enterprise license. Do you know which license you have?

The 'License Information' node is work in progress, and should only be visible to angel users. Are you using a regular administrator user?

Hi Steffen,

Professional SaaS.

I am using an Angel account.

I can update the solution manually for the time being if the Package manager is still in development. I was confused because Nicolai demoed the package manager in the 9.2 presentation and I expected to work already.

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian

It has been implemented so that SAAS solutions cannot update - this is because they are intended to be hosted by us and shares application across solution. So if solution 1 updates, so does the others.

Hi Nicolai,

Understood. Only that there is no special mention of it being SaaS in the backend. Just Professional.

Maybe it is related to Prefessional license no matter what type of hosting it has?

Thanks,

Adrian
