Use of stats table in Dw Databse

We have customer who is running dw application Live for 13months

we have noticed 3 tables have more than 1m data records, need to know more about those tables

Statv2Session - 2M+ Records

Statv2Object - 1M+ Records

Statv2Page - 9M+ Records

 

What is the real use of these data?

if we remove all data except last 3months what is the impact?

You can remove that data - it is used for historical visitor reports on dashboards and pages.

It will have no impact except that these information is no longer available.

If you use personalisation and have users that have been away from the site longer than 3 months, their personalisation will be dropped. That can be extended by leaving i.e. 6 months of data in statv2session table.
