Solution info in GlobalSettings

Hello,

This section of the Global Settings is super annoying to version control.

One of our solutions didn't update it for the past 3 months, either a bug in DW or our setup, but however, it was really great not seeing Global Settings at every commit. Now we recently upgraded to 9.8.x and it started updating it again.

Is there any way to disable it? Handle it better?

Doesn't it update this info on the application startup? Is it really needed? If so, could be awesome to store it somewhere else than a configuration file.

You see this often? The check should only happen every 90 days...

I definitely see it more than that (e.g. see the dates in my screen dump)

What determines whether the check happens? Is it environment specific, so also every 90 days pr. developer?

Hey Søren

A solution if you want, is changing to a GlobalSettings.config file instead, and then making a CommonInformation.config file next to it, that contains the commoninformation. Then you can just omit that file from your commits.
