Product in more than one shop

Hi

We are urrently setting up a multiple shop solution.

We want each shop to have it's own setup (orders, basket ect)

BUT we also want all shops to share the same set of productgroups and products.

 

The last seems to be a problem, as it seems impossible to attach groups to groups acroos shops.

 

The customer has eCom Extended including Assortment.

 

What to do ?

Hi Lars,

 

If it's absolutely crusial that products and orders are placed in different shops, e.g. if people from different companies need to access ecom in backend, it would be a good idea to seperate into multiple shops. In that case there's only the hard way of entering information, or entering information in one shop, export the data, change the shop relation, and import to a other shop. It's not possible to have the same product, that is the same record from EcomProducts table, in two shops.

 

Could you please elaborate on what is the point of seperating into multiple shops in your case?
