Problems sending mails with Newsletter v3

Using the Newsletter/Nyhedsbrev v3 module, im trying to send a test newsletter, but im constantly getting following error for every email in the Category:

"Failure sending mail." (Which isnt really all that explanetory)

The thing is, when trying the "Test" function in the module, nothing fails and it is sends perfectly.

Nothing erroneous is show in the IIS smtp logs.

Hey Chris.

When using test method DW uses SMTP and sendmail. When sending lots of mails normally you would use pickup, so the problem is properly because you haven't defined the pickup folder in the management center newsletter settings section. Try take a look at that

Hej Mikkel

The thing is, the Pickup folder IS defined (default : C:\inetpub\mailroot\Pickup)

Dropping a custom made mail file in the mailroot/Pickup works fine, and the mail arrives as it should.

Then my guess is that you need to give the IIS user write access to that folder.

Also, take a look in the folder /Files/System/Newsletterv3Log and see if there are any error log entries. It might contain a stack trace with further details.

Giving write access to the proper user, solved the problem. Thanks.
