Performance issue

As only I start the web site service on IIS the usage of the processor runs up to 100%. It stays constantly on this level no matter how many users are currently connected (even if no one is connected).

For the other sites on the server everything seems to be ok so the problem occurs only for Dynamic Web solution. 

Can it have something to do with IIS configuration? 
The server runs in Web Server 2008 and IIS 6

That is hard to say - it sounds like some kind of configuration error.

Try taking a look at the http requests to the site. Could it be a recursive redirect, maybe caused by primary domain on an area (Take a look at AreaDomainLock in Area table)
