Number of products per page in eCom

Hi
How can i dynamically set the number of products liste in a product list template ?

What i want to do, is to give the user an option of selecting f.ex 10, 20 or 50 items to be listed per page by cliccling the respektive number or selecting it in a dropdown.

You can't. There is no way to specify numbers of item per page from the frontend . We are trying to improve the paging feature for the next service release, and this wil be one of the improments. We're also looking at making the paging a bit more googlish.
