newsletter subscription and unsubscription links SOMETIMES fail

This problem occurs in several of our websites:

When people subscribe to our newsletter they receive a confirmation email with an activation link. It sometimes happens (i've seen it myself) that this link generates a 404. I can't figure it out why! When I try to debug and watch along with fiddler it works fine ofcource! Same problem with the link in the newsletter to unsubscribe.
We're still getting complaints about it ...

Both are just dw tags in the templates, so I have no idea what to do about it!

Anybody who had the same experience?

Could this be the issue (bug 5036) fixed in 19.1.2.1?

That is very well possible!
I am going to do some test after the weekend ;-)

I hadn't noticed a new DW release was out ...
Is there a way to subscribe to a new release notification?

O ... that reminds me ...
Some of these projects run on an older '19.1.0.5 special edition' core until the logging bug is solved.
I can't change them to a new core ...

For some reason the logging bug is known for quite a while now, but won't be solved ...
