Installing dw 9.7.2 and above issues with one of our servers. why?:(

Hi,

I have a development server. No issues running any sites below 9.7.2. But if I try and install a site above that - then I cant.

I have installed web framework 4.7.2 on the server.

Whatever I do - I get this error: "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."
Cant find any log error messages either in event viewer etc - that gives me a better understanding of the error.

This image will generate that error "http://test.domain.dk/Admin/Resources/img/DW_logo_200.png". Everything will.

Any ideas. On all other servers so far - everything is no issues - but this one server:/

I remain hopefull - for now:)

Can it be the config file that interferes with whatever is defined in the machine's web.config? What happens when you temporarily remove the web.config file from the root?

TY Imar. You pointed me in some direction. I always thought it was something with the web config. Just couldnt pin point it!

It was this line: <mimeMap fileExtension=".webp" mimeType="image/webp" /> in staticcontent

I already had it defined in Mimetypes! And this caused the crash. Two solutions. Remove it from config or remove mimetype from IIS.
