http & https on same Dynamicweb solution

Does anybody have experience with setting up a DW solution, where content pages are http, and pages with sensitive information like ecom cart flow, and memberclub account pages are using https?

I am mostly wondering about the architecture - best practice for setting up the IIS and corresponding DW websites?

Just install the SSL certificate normally on the webserver. Then either by JS or by a notification subscriber make sure DW runs the entire website (or parts there of) in https.
