Getimage.aspx and 64bit servers

Reply
It seems that getimage.aspx does not work on 64 bit servers (without changes in IIS), and DLL's for imageglue on DW 7.1 are the same as on the last release, so I assume this still true...

..or am I missing somthing?

Error returned:
[BadImageFormatException: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)]

Well yes - we have not yet upgraded Imageglue and ABCpdf to 64 bit versions yet.

I promise though, that DW 7.2 will be available in a 64-bit version. That means upgrade of ABCPdf, imageglue, and other stuff.

Will that be possible with the absence of an Access driver in 64 bits? What about translations in that case?

For translations (at least in other parts of DW) importing the language.mdb in to sql DB works fine.

Office 2010 delivers a 64 bit Access driver - at least that is what I've read.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=C06B8369-60DD-4B64-A44B-84B371EDE16D&displaylang=en

Connection string: "Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=some.mdb"

We are installing a new test environment as we speak so we can run 32+64 bit IIS 7.5 in both integrated and classic pipelines on asp.net 2 and 4 = 8 different environments on IIS 7 alone.

We switched to 32 bit mode, which ofcourse works.

Minor drawback:
- Paragraph editor does not support inserting with getimage.aspx "prefix". This is needed, as I am inserting images stored in a secure folder. Manually altering the path in html is needed.

Major drawback:
- Getimage.aspx does not respect user rights in secure folder (images AND pdf)
