Geolocation lookup in the API

Hi DW,

 

With the introduction of the Maps module, we get new field types on our users to store their coordinates for use in maps.

Is it possible to find coordinates via the API if you have an integrated user import?

 

Or is the current solution pure javascript?

The current solution uses Google Maps Javascript API.

 

Maybe have a look at Bing. It has a very easy to use XML/http api.
