They are the same modules, just two different languages.
Sending the submitted form by email is built-in functionality. But sending it as PFD would require you to post the form to a different page("alternative form action" on paragraph setup), gather the submitted values and print them in a PDF using e.g. ABCpdf. Then sending them as attachments using a custom mail routine.
