Extranet facebook login

Hi DWs

A client wants users to login to the Extranet via Facebook. I guess we could link the users login via custom code to Facebook API.

Any suggestions much appreciated. :-)

Hi Peter,

 

With 8.4 interaction with social medias will be part of DW standard. It can't wait until late Janurary 2014?

Morten,

2 questions:

A: Is it possible that DW would implement that request sooner? ie in November?
B: If we should code it via API, how could it be done? you know all about the API, so you have to know. I am just trying to clear an estimat on the assignment. I will assign a developer to the assignment, but have to get some sort of feeling of the job.

A: Schedule is tight, so: no.
B: My own best bet is something like https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/getting-started-web/

 

Other than that I'll leave the door open for others to pitch in...
