Extensionless URLs

Hello.

I was trying to setup a local development environment for DW 8.2.1.8. We have a development server running IIS7 on Windows server 2008 SP2. All latest updates installed. Site is running in integrated mode.
I game across a problem with the extenstionless option in customized URLs. With this option enabled I always get a 404. If I turn it off everything works fine. So I managed to pinpoint the problem but I can’t seem to find a solution.
I compared the IIS setup to a HostNordic server where it works but I cannot spot the difference.
I copied the website directly from the HostNordic server so there are no differences in the site setup besides database connection and domain lock / primary domain in websites module.
Anybody have any insight in what I need to do in terms of setup on the IIS to “enable” extensionless URLS ?

Is your IIS Application Pool running in Integrated Mode? I think you need that for extensionless URLs to be mapped to / processed by Dynamicweb....

Have a look at your web.config - if it is from a custom solution, it could be that. Update with the one from the application.

If this does not help, do you get a sub code to your 404? What does fiddler tells you?

In IIS, select the website and go to "Handler Mappings" and ensure that it contains entries for ExtensionlessUrl  (should be enabled).

Thanks for all the input. I figured it out, for some odd reason my web.config file had been changed after copied to the dev server. One thing, the version is 8.2.1.8 why is this version not here

Hi Mikkel

Because it has been withdrawn because of a bug.
