eCom serach option

Hi,

Is it possible to define in the URL, parameters for sorting, such as SortBy, SortOrder and Number of products per page?

The idea is to create and advanced search page for products.

If yes, will the next and previous page buttons "remember" the Sorting options, or will they override to the paragraph settings?

Please check out the documentation for "Parameter based search" available in the Development section on the documentation portal.

Hi Lars,

The document does not mention anything like that, nor about custom fields and valid fields for search. Since it seams to be lacking some informatio, I thought someone might know about these search parameters.

If they do not exist, I am glad to add them to the feature requests.

No, in this case it's not lacking information, since the features do not exist:) Cool features, though, so please post them.

However, the custom field search should work, although undocumented. Just use the system name of the field and do a match on it like a standard field.

Hi,

I tried the following querystring: ?ecomsearch=1&GroupID=GROUP96&ProductName=asus

I expected that i could search within GROUP96 but this not working?
Now i get all matching products if i use this querystring and is NOT filtered by GROUP96.
