eCom error when not logged in as Angel

Hi there,

 

We just set up a new custom solution using eCommerce. When logging in as angel, everything works fine. However, as soon as we log in as Admin, we get the following error:

 

Could not find a part of the path 'D:\Webroot\wwwroot\Wolky\dynamicweb.wolky.nl\Files\Cache.net\SHOP_SHOP1.permissions.xml'.

 

Anyone else seeing this? Is this a known problem? If so, what can we do about it?

Assuming you've tried iisreset and opening a new browser from the start menu, have you made sure the the aspnet user has adequate permissions on the folder? Also, try removing the contents of the Cache.net folder.

Yeah, permissions are OK,. and I reset the associated Application Pool before I posted here.

 

It turned out though that the Cache.Net folder wasn't present. Manually adding the folder fixed the problem.

 

It's a local development site, so we granted Everyone full control to the main DW folders, so I doubt it's a security issue. Is Cache.NET supposed to be there by default? Or is it created by DW when it needs that folder?

Ah, it turned out to be exactly what the server said. Who'd have thought;)

I just thought / hoped that DW would create the folder.....
